To me, therapy means building a deep and trusting relationship where healing and balance can be found. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to make these kinds of connections with my clients and support their biggest goals in the process. I started my career as an educator, working with young children and their caregivers. In this work I found that, more than any particular skill or lesson, it was the depth of the relationship that made the most impactful change in people’s lives. After many years of coaching parents in connection with their children, it became clear to me that safe and loving attachment (or lack thereof) is the cornerstone of emotional success and well-being for all people. Since then, I have dedicated myself to the mission of creating opportunities for greater support, care, and understanding in my sessions with clients. Whether you are a parent struggling to connect to your child, a family member in need of greater security with your loved one, or an individual looking to heal the parts of you that have gone unacknowledged, I feel honored to help you cultivate space for change.

THERAPY DOG, GOOD GIRL & MORALE BOOSTER

Birdie

Birdie is a tiny rescue dog with a big personality. She knows what it means to be a survivor; she was rescued as a stray at only 6 weeks old from New Mexico… in January!

Birdie’s calm and cuddly demeanor makes her the perfect therapy dog. She is friendly with people of all ages, genders, and sizes and is especially friendly when there are treats involved.

Birdie is a certified therapy dog through Professional Therapy Dogs of Colorado which means that she has been temperament-tested in potentially stressful situations with many common variables (for example: assistive technology like wheelchairs and speech-generating devices, play with children, and people in physical and emotional distress).
